CameraPixels has a very intuitive and easy to use UI. Most settings, like manual adjustments, resolution, crop and timer are accessible with just a couple of taps.
DSLR-like manual controls are available in all capture modes. CameraPixels supports auto, ISO priority, shutter priority and manual exposure modes
CameraPixels has one of the most advanced bracketing capabilities among iOS apps. The auto-exposure, ISO and shutter speed brackets with up to 15 exposures
Presets are the easiest way to switch between pre-selected settings and capture modes. Don't waste time on repeated manual adjustments, just save them as the easily selectable Presets
Starting from iPhone 6S it's possible to capture photos in raw format and save them using DNG files. Raw format allows to preserve all information, captured by the sensor!
CameraPixels supports Photo, Raw (iPhone 6S/Plus and newer), Video, Slow Motion (iPhone 5S and newer), Burst, Bracketing, Time lapse and Multi-shot capture modes!
CameraPixels supports up to 4K videos (on supported devices) in Video and Time lapse modes and up to 240 fps (on supported devices) in Slow motion capture mode
In low light situations try to use the Night mode to get brighter and less noisy pictures. Prefer using tripod for blur-free shots while Night mode is active
On iPhone 7 Plus there is a possibility to quickly switch between wide- and tele-lenses. Unlike standard camera, CameraPixels allows you to use tele-lens in low lighting conditions
In Photo and Raw capture modes CameraPixels supports an advanced intervalometer which allows to delay first capture and perform a series of captures with a specified lapse between images
CameraPixels supports most widly used helper grids to help better frame your scene. Among the supported grids are Rule of Thirds, Grid with simmerty, Golden ratio and Phi
There are several widely used by professional photographers framing aspect ratios are available in Photo capture mode. Among them Cinema (16:9), Classic (4:3), 35 mm (3:2), Square (1:1), Golden ratio (1.61:1), Panorama (2:1) and several others
For devices that don't support raw capture, CameraPixels provides TIFF format that store image data lossless, without introducing compression artifacts. The Multi-shot capture mode can save a final TIFF image with the 96 bit color depth (16 bits per channel)!
CameraPixels allows to control the output JPEG quality by specifying its level of compression from 60% to 100%
A real-time luminance histogram allows to select proper exposure parameters for perfect shot. Instead of a histogram, an over-/under-exposed indicator can also be used to control the exposure
Unlike most other camera apps for iOS, CameraPixels supports multiple resolutions in video and photo capture modes. This allows you to choose a right size of the image in each situation
The fill light (torch) is available in all capture modes and its brightness can easily be controlled by the appearing slider.
Use the volume button (volume up) or a selfie stick to trigger the capture
Use horizon levels to keep you horizon straight! The CameraPixels 3D tiltmeter measures not only horizontal, but also vertical inclinations
Activate Geo-tagging to remember where the photo was taken or video was recorded
